Zimbabwe's Mighty Warriors

Saturday's international friendly encounter between Zimbabwe's Mighty Warriors and the She-Polo-Polo of Zambia did not fail to thrill the fans who trooped to the Colliery Stadium in Hwange,Zambia.The game kicked off with the Zambians showing their intent of revenging their loss to Zimbabwe.

The Mighty Warriors had to come from behind after Zambia Esta Banda had shot the visitors into the lead 15 minutes into the game.

Zimbabwe then leveled affairs in the 46th minute thanks to a penalty conversion by Tsitsi Maroisi.

Zimbabwe made it 2-1 up in the 56 minute after a Rutendo Makore strike before the Mighty Warriors completed their rout with an 83 minute goal from Mairosi.
The game forms part of Zimbabwe and Zambia's   warm-up for their 2012 African Women's Championship qualifiers against The Super Falcons of Nigeria and Banyana-Banyana of South Africa respectively coming up in May.
