Newly Appointed Ghana Women's Coach Unhappy About Assitant Coach Appointment

Newly appointed Ghana women's national team coach Kuuku Dadzie is unhappy with the failure of the Ghana Federation to appoint Ben Fokuo as his assistant.

Fokuo failed to land any of the national team jobs after he was overlooked by the vetting committee.

He formed a nice partnership with Dadzie to help the country win silver at the 2011 All Africa Games in Mozambique.

Dadzie insists his former number two man should have also been elevated to join him on the Black Queens bench.

"After working with him for that long, I thought it will have been prudent to allow him to assist me," Dadzie said.

"We had such a wonderful relationship working together and so the fact the he didn’t get any job, do not sit well with me.

"But of course the GFA knows best and so will take it in good faith.

"I hope I can work effectively with my new assistant to ensure we put the Queens back on the international map again."
