Huge Upset- South Africa Beaten In All Africa Games Qualifier,Nigeria Draws against Ghana

Botswana has managed to pull off one of the biggest upsets in Africa Women's Soccer history by beating South Africa's Banyana Banyana 1-0 away from home. The surprise was pulled off by Botswana's Thuto Ramafifi on the 26th minute mark. This puts Botswana ahead as they go back home to play South Africa in Gaborone in a fortnight. South Africa played without most of their key players and hope to make amends when they play the return leg in Botswana.

Ghana battled their fiercest rivals, the Super Falcons in Abuja to a pulsating 1-1 drawn game. The scoreless first half saw both teams coming back with fire in their eyes with Nigeria drawing first blood through Desire Oparanozie's thunderous strike.Ghana however equalized through a defensive blunder to silence the vociferous Nigerian crowd.Ghana defended gallantly whiles the wasteful Nigerian attack were left to rue  their wasted chances.
In  Dundo,Angola, Angola's women's national team the Welwitchias squared off against Zimbabwe with the game ending in a draw via goals from Angola's Destino(20th min) and Zimbabwe's Dejaba (75th min). Both countries gave a good account of themselves in a balanced encounter although Angola failed to add to their tally when they failed to score form a 90th minute penalty kick awarded them.Ghana plays Nigeria in the return leg in Accra whiles Zimbabwe also relies on home court advantage in Harare in a fortnight.
