Ghana’s Black Queens are currently in a training camp in Tamale, the northern part of Ghana to prepare for the African Women’s Championship qualifier against Mali in February.
The Black Queens are fine tuning for the preliminary round of the first leg qualifier of the women's African cup of nations to be played in Bamako. 30-players including 16 from the previous U-20 team (Black Princesses) have been in camp since November 2011. The game against MAli has been slated for the weekend of January 13th and 15th with the return leg scheduled two weeeks later.
Meanwhile the U-17 also are preparing for the FIFA women's U-17 world cup qualifiers against Cameroon.They play the first leg on the 22nd of January in Accra. The FIFA u17 women's world cup will be hosted by Azerbaijan in September,2012.
