Latest FIFA/Coca-Cola Women's World Ranking Africa sees little Improvement

The latest FIFA women's world ranking saw Africa's number 1,Nigeria ,retain their 27th world ranking but Ghana dropped two places to 51st in the world but retained their 2nd place spot in Africa.

Equatorial Guinea climbed  6 places after their world cup showing to a 55th place in the world making them the 3rd best in Africa.

South Africa plunged 5 places to be ranked 63rd in the world and 4th in Africa. Cameroon dropped 2 places and is now ranked 68th in the world and 5th in Africa.

Morroco dropped 2 places  and is now ranked 73rd in the world and 6th in Africa.

Tunisia retains it's 76th ranking to become 7th in Africa but Cote d'Ivoire dropped 3 places to a 77th world ranking(8th in Africa)

Algeria dropped 2 places to an 80th world ranking making them the 9th best in Africa. Egypt dropped 2 places to an 84th world ranking making them the 10th best in Africa.

Others who saw a dip in their rankings are Senegal,85th
Mali 93rd,Angola 105th,DR Congo 107th,Zambia 120th,Tanzania 124th,Mozambique 125th and Botswana 129th.

Guinea,Namibia and Malawi remains  112th,114th and 126th respectively ranked in the world.


Zimbabwe however moved up 1 place to 99th in the world and Ethiopia can also smile with a move up to 106th in the world.

The unranked countries in Africa are as follows

Liberia,Lesotho,Gabon,Eritrea,Sierra Leone,Swaziland,Kenya,Guinea Bissau,Bourkina Faso,Benin and Congo.
