Nigeria battled Canada to a goal less draw in true grit fashion as both nations prepare for the kick off of this year's FIFA women's world cup.The Nigerians are a tournament dark horse. Lead by forwards Desire Oparanozie and Asisat Oshoala, the Super Falcons will compete in Group D with the Americans, Australia and Sweden. It’s deemed this year’s “Group of Death.”
The hard tackling Nigerians showed no mercy when Canadian legend Christie Sinclair went down heavily on the hard artificial turf twice and the Canadian coach called it a good learning experience going into the tournament.
